As I told the girls at the WA on Wednesday, I find it best to start by blocking in shapes, light and dark, and the details kind of find themselves. I see it is almost a year since I last posted here! I became addicted to trawling through the news every day to find a face to draw, accompanied by an interesting story. I was doing nothing else, which defeated the object of the exercise.
